The heart of industrial production undoubtedly beats in press machines that shape metals. From door locks to massive automotive chassis, there is an unshakable power behind every metal part you can imagine. However, as manufacturers well know, an eccentric press you place in your workshop is not just a machine; it is the biggest investment that directly affects your factory's production capacity, occupational safety, and profitability.
Why Should You Choose Us?
As Karmaksan Makine, we have been in the sector since 1988. The biggest difference that sets us apart from our competitors is: We do not manufacture cast iron presses that are sold at cheap costs, crack in a short time, and deflect! All our presses are manufactured from a strong steel body, with stress relieved by special heat treatments. Moreover, without showroom costs or intermediary commissions, we reach you directly from the manufacturer (factory).
C-Frame Eccentric Presses (Fast and Practical Solutions)
C-FRAME ECCENTRIC PRESS
The most common models in the industry, which are indispensable for workshops, are C-frame eccentric press machines. When you look at the machine from the side, it resembles a large letter "C". The biggest advantage of this design is that it offers full access from the right, left, and front when mounting the die and feeding material.
Our C-frame presses, which we manufacture from 10 tons up to 125 tons, are ideal especially for companies engaged in mass production. As Karmaksan, we bury the complaint "C-frame presses deflect at high tonnage, ruin the die" often heard in the market into history with our masterful experience. In order for the open mouth of the machine not to deflect under heavy impacts, we cut the chassis wall thicknesses from steel plates well above the standards and relieve their stress in special furnaces. In this way, the life of your dies is extended by years.
H-Frame Eccentric Presses (The Unshakable Power of Heavy Industry)
As your business grows, the multi-stage (progressive) dies you use become larger, and the thickness of the sheet metal you form increases. When your tonnage need exceeds 100 tons, you need to switch to H-frame eccentric press models, which have no tolerance for deflection. These machines, which have four columns and look like a closed box (H shape), eliminate the "deflection margin" to zero because they are closed on the right and left.
H-FRAME STEEL BODY
Bending armor steels, producing deep drawing pots, and serving in the uninterrupted production lines of the automotive supplier industry are exactly the jobs of these machines. Our H-frame presses, which we produce up to 250 tons, are equipped with double pitman (connecting rod) power transmission and apply equal and vibration-free pressure to every point of the die surface.

Pneumatic Eccentric Press (Maximum Occupational Safety)
The first question you should ask when buying an eccentric press is: "Can this machine stop instantly in case of danger?" In older generation mechanical (key clutch) presses, once you pressed the pedal, the machine would definitely not stop without going up and down (completing the stroke). Unfortunately, this situation has led to irreversible occupational accidents and thousands of dollars worth of broken dies over the years.
As Karmaksan Makine, we use pneumatic eccentric press technology as a standard in all new machines we produce. In pneumatic systems, the clutch operates with air pressure. If your hand touches the light barrier (safety sensor) or you press the emergency stop button, the system cuts off the air in a second. The heavy ram locks in place within milliseconds. This way, you ensure 100% safety for your operator and save your dies in case of faulty sheet metal loading.

We Asked Our Master: Everything You Need to Know About Eccentric Presses
1. What is your story as Karmaksan Makine, and why should we trust you?
Our story began in 1988 with sheer hard work, evolving from apprentices to true masters. Founded by four brothers working shoulder to shoulder, Karmaksan Makine is today a deep-rooted family company manufacturing eccentric presses for Turkey and the world. We don't just see a machine as a pile of iron; we build it as a factory legacy to be passed down through generations.
2. Why do you use ST52 quality steel instead of thin cast iron in press manufacturing?
The most common complaint in the industry is "the machine deflected and shattered the die." Machines made of thin cast iron, chosen to cut costs, cannot withstand high pressure. We manufacture our frames from ST52 quality steel according to heavy industry norms and relieve their stress in special furnaces. Thus, we guarantee zero deflection at the moment of impact.
3. How does the plate thickness of your machines compare to the market, and what is its advantage?
The thicker the skeleton of a machine, the longer its lifespan. We use steel plates with thicknesses well above industry standards. This extra plate thickness ensures that the press stands firmly on the ground at high RPMs, absorbs vibrations, and operates quietly.
4. How are eccentric press prices determined, and why isn't there a standard list?
Every workshop's needs, the size of the dies they will mount, and their production speed vary. To avoid charging you unnecessary costs, we do not provide a generic price list. Based on tonnage capacity, pneumatic systems, and bolster plate size, we prepare a custom quote with the best eccentric press prices directly from the manufacturer, with no middlemen.
5. If I want a price for a 35-ton or 60-ton press for my workshop, how does the process work?
It's very simple, master! Just click the WhatsApp button on our website or call us directly and tell us what you will produce. Our sales masters will listen to you and instantly provide factory-direct prices that won't strain your budget, whether you're looking for 35-ton prices or 60-ton prices.
6. Can you convert my mechanical press to a pneumatic clutch system?
Absolutely yes. We take your old mechanical (key clutch) presses that fail occupational safety standards and pose hazards into our factory, integrating the most modern pneumatic clutch and brake systems. We transform your machine into a brand-new, CE-standard press equipped with light barriers and dual-hand safety.
7. How far does your press production capacity extend?
We start with 10-ton benchtop models for small and precise parts, and we manufacture C-frame and H-frame eccentric presses up to a massive 250 tons for large dies serving the automotive supplier industry.
8. When it comes to press repair (revision), do you only service your own machines?
No, it is essential for us that your production line does not stop. Regardless of the brand, we provide guaranteed eccentric press repair and mechanical revision services for all presses in your workshop that have broken down, seized bearings, or lost performance.
9. How does the delivery and installation process work after ordering a machine?
We strictly adhere to the agreed delivery time. Once your machine is finished, we safely ship it to your factory with our own or contracted expert logistics teams, perform the mechanical installation, train your masters on usage, and only then hand it over.
10. What is the main difference between a C-frame and an H-frame press, and which one should I buy?
C-frame presses are open from the right, left, and front, allowing for easy feeding and comfortable use; they are the favorites of workshops. However, if you want to eliminate the deflection margin completely at very high tonnages and with wide progressive dies, we recommend H-frame presses, which are closed on four sides like armor.
11. Do you have an automatic centralized lubrication system?
Of course. We end the worry of "I forgot to lubricate the machine today." The smart lubrication unit, which we offer as standard on our 35-ton and larger presses, periodically pumps metered oil to all critical bronze bearings while the machine is running. It never seizes.
12. Do you buy, sell, or trade-in second-hand presses?
Yes. When you want to expand your business and increase capacity (e.g., moving from 30 tons to 80 tons), we take your clean and well-maintained press as a trade-in at market value. We also occasionally offer guaranteed second-hand presses that have been overhauled by us.
13. How do you ensure occupational safety (OSHA) standards in pneumatic presses?
Zero occupational accidents is our motto. Our pneumatic presses, equipped with dual-hand safety relays, CE-approved safety valves, and premium light barriers, lock the ram in milliseconds the moment the operator's hand enters the danger zone.
14. Is it difficult to adjust the stroke on an eccentric press?
Not at all. Thanks to our advanced crank gear system, your die setters can adjust the stroke (up and down travel) distance with millimeter precision in seconds without needing heavy tools.
15. I will mount a multi-station progressive die; can you enlarge the bolster plate?
What makes us special is our ability to provide boutique production. If your die does not fit our standard table, we manufacture a custom, widened steel bolster plate with T-slots without compromising the frame's rigidity, tailoring the machine entirely to you.
16. What is the double pitman (connecting rod) system, and what is its advantage?
Especially in wide machines of 80 tons, 125 tons, and above, the impact force must be distributed evenly to the right and left of the die. Instead of pressing from a single point, we balance the load using double pitman arms, absolutely preventing the die from pressing diagonally or breaking its blades.
17. I do contract manufacturing and speed is very important to me. How many strokes per minute can it do?
It is hard to keep up with the speed of Karmaksan presses! Thanks to our optimized flywheel disc and motor transmission ratios, we reach up to 60 to 140 strokes (RPM) per minute depending on the tonnage, doubling your production capacity compared to competitors.
18. What do we do if the die jams (locks up) during production?
No need to panic. Our pneumatic systems feature a smart "Reverse (Rescue) Mode." The moment you reverse the motor direction from the switch, the machine pulls the ram up with its own power and rescues the jammed die without mechanical damage.
19. How is the quality of the electrical panel and switchgear components you use?
We entrust the heart of the machine to the best. We use A-grade European switchgear components from globally proven brands like Siemens and Schneider in our panels. Voltage fluctuations cannot easily damage the electronic brain of our machine.
20. Are your machine paints resistant to workshop conditions?
We know the oil, rust, and moisture of the industrial environment very well. That is why our paints are extra corrosion-resistant, shock-absorbing industrial epoxy and polyurethane-based special baked paints. Even after years, the machine maintains its pristine appearance.
21. Are your presses compatible if we want to connect a coil uncoiler and servo feeder automation?
Fully compatible. External connection modules are ready in our smart PLC control panels. The moment you connect your servo or pneumatic roll feeders to the panel, the machine starts working fully automatically like an unmanned robot in "Continuous Stroke" mode.
22. Will we face danger if the air pressure suddenly drops in the pneumatic system?
Absolutely not. When the bar level of the air coming from the compressor drops below the critical limit, the air control sensor in the system automatically suspends and locks the press. It is impossible for it to make a half stroke with insufficient power and ruin the die.
23. How is the vibration level? Will it damage the workshop floor?
A poorly balanced press drills the floor like a jackhammer. We perfectly balance the crankshafts and flywheel weights with excellent craftsmanship, adding optional rubber mounts to the chassis feet. The machine operates without vibration, practically gripping the floor.
24. What exactly is the difference between you and the cheap, under-the-counter productions on the market?
From the outside, every press might look like a pile of iron of the same color. Our difference lies in deep and strong welds instead of thin welds, ST52 heavy industry steel instead of standard sheets, and most importantly, the honor of the 35-year-old Karmaksan brand that "never lets you down."
25. Will I have trouble finding spare parts?
If you buy an imported machine from abroad, you will wait months for a part. We are the manufacturer! Every single part of a Karmaksan brand eccentric press, from the screw to the air valve, from the crank to the pitman arm, is always in our stock and ready for shipping.
26. Can we visit your factory or production line and see your references?
Our door is always open to you! You can come to our factory in Istanbul and see our production line, grinding, and welding quality with your own eyes. Our giant references like Borusan and ABB Elektrik on our website are proof that you are at the right address.
27. Can we press parts with very tight tolerances, such as for defense or aerospace?
Yes. For these types of sectors, we grind our ram and prismatic V-guide systems on special precision grinding machines to an accuracy of one-thousandth of a millimeter. The centering is so flawless that you get defect-free products even at micron tolerances.
28. Could I buy a hydraulic press instead of an eccentric press?
It depends on your needs. For deep drawing, hydraulic is necessary, but if you are going to punch, cut, and bend sheet metal, a hydraulic press will leave you at a snail's pace. Eccentric presses are incredibly fast with their hit-and-run logic and are the only solution for mass production workshops.
29. You say your machines use less electricity, how is this possible?
In an eccentric press, the striking force is generated not by the electric motor, but by the kinetic energy created by the weighted flywheel. Because we calculate this mechanical dynamic very well, we use highly efficient, low-KW motors instead of unnecessarily large motors, reducing your electricity bill.
30. How easy is it to reach you and get a price quote?
We speak the language of the industrialist and do not adhere to strict office hours. You can directly reach our masters by clicking the WhatsApp icon on the bottom right of our website or by calling the numbers on our Contact page to get instant solutions and price quotes.
